Representational Artist working in Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor and Encaustic

ARTIST BIO
Linda Sprau, born in Longview, Wa and grew up in the country with a love of nature that continued throughout her life. She spent much of her free time camping and enjoying the pristine beauty of the northwest, all of the time yearning to recreate that feeling in an artistic manner.
She attended college in the Seattle area and worked 42 years for BNSF Railroad.
In 2014 she retired, leaving steel and transportation surroundings behind, and began her artistic journey re-creating the beauty she had longed to paint from an early age.
She began taking classes in drawing, acrylic and water-color painting, and more recently, encaustic. Classes were taken at Portland Community College, Clark College, Vancouver and Oregon School of Art and individual artists workshops and classes.
